Herndon Ecumenical Choir in Spain, 2017!

Hello All –  I have put together a choir trip to Spain for May of 2017 and would like to invite everyone to join us.  I have attached the brochure and registration form.  It looks to be a wonderful trip.  One of the highlights will be singing a concert in La Sagrada Familia.  Check out this video segment from 60 Minutes to learn more about the cathedral if you are unfamiliar.

The trip will be a week long.  Airfare, hotels, breakfast, dinner, guided tours, and ALL group tips are included in the price.  The payments will once again be spread out over a ten month period, but you are welcome to pay in larger chunks if you would like.

As always, we would love to have you sing in the choir, but spouses of choir members who don’t sing and anyone else around that would like to go but not sing are welcome to join us.

Please return completed registration forms to me (Jeremy Shoop) at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (1090 Sterling Road, Herndon, VA 20170).  I will collect them over the next two months and send the first batch of registration forms to KI Concerts on December 15.  The second batch will be sent in on January 15.

If you are interested in joining us please email me at office@holycrossluthernachurch.net and let me know to expect your registration form.

I know some of you are members of other choirs throughout the community.  Please spread the word and invite other singers to join us.

We have taken a first stab at selecting music and I’m happy to include some links below to whet your appetite.  Some of the links are to JWPepper (a sheet music store) where you need to find the play button on the page to listen to the song.  The format of the concert will be similar to past trips, a classical set, an American folk song set, and an American spiritual set.
